Client / Trainer Agreement
- The trainer will use their skills and knowledge to design a safe programme of exercise that will consider the personal goals and fitness levels of the client(s).
- The trainer will provide coaching supervision, advice, and support that the client may need to help with achieving their goals.
- The trainer will provide all necessary equipment where appropriate and will organise suitable venues for all exercise sessions.
- All client information will be kept strictly private and confidential. If the trainer requires further medical information from a practitioner, the client must provide such details.
- It is understood between client and trainer that both will commit to the exercise sessions and give 100% effort.
- The client is required to wear appropriate clothing and footwear (if applicable), as well as remove any jewellery prior to all exercise sessions.
Training Terms and Conditions Health Screening
- All clients must complete a PAR-Q form/agree to our Waiver, before commencing any exercise session.
- Any changes to the client’s physical health and wellbeing must be reported to the trainer, by the client, before continuing any exercise sessions.
- Your trainer may require a letter of ‘medical clearance’ from your GP. Please be aware that your GP may charge you for this.
Cancellation Policy
- 24 hours’ notice of cancellation is required for all exercise sessions.
- Notice of less than 24 hours will incur full payment of the session fee.
- For membership holders; classes cancelled by The Pilates People will result in a credit being added to their account.
- For pay as you go purchases; classes cancelled by The Pilates People will result in money credits (equivilent to the amount paid) being added to their account.
Lateness Policy
- If the client is more than 10 minutes late or arrives after the warm-up for a group class, the trainer reserves the right to refuse the client’s entry.
- If the client is late for any exercise session, the session will not be extended and will end at the appropriate time.
- If the trainer is late, additional time will be added to the session or to subsequent sessions.
Class and Membership Charging Policy
- Payment for single sessions or pay as you go must be made at the time of booking and redeemed within 1 month of purchase.
- Memberships and block bookings must be paid in advance, and all sessions must be redeemed within membership terms.
- All monies paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Personal Training Charging Policy
- Payment for single sessions must be made at the time of booking and redeemed within 1 month of purchase.
- Block bookings must be paid in advance, but sessions do not have to be book in advance. However, all sessions must be redeemed within 12 months of purchase.
- All monies paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Bookings Terms and Conditions
- All class bookings are to be made via the online booking system or a trainer.
- If a booking hasn’t been made and confirmed via the online booking system or through a trainer prior to any session, you may be refused access to the session due to limited spaces.
- All classes can be booked four weeks in advance, spaces permitting.
- Class bookings close 2 hours prior to the class start time. If a booking hasn’t been made prior to this, we cannot guarantee access to the session.
- If a person cannot attend a class, there will be no refund available. However, there is the option to attend another class, places permitting.
- If a person wishes to attend an alternative class this must be arranged at least 24 hours prior to the class that should have been attended. Membership holders must redeem this class within the same 28-day membership cycle of the missed class. Pay as you go classes must be redeemed within the month of purchase. This can be done via the booking system or a trainer.
- All class credits associated with memberships will expire on the date of auto-renewal, shown on the client’s account, and cannot be rolled over.
- Personal training sessions are to be arranged and booked directly, via email info@pilates-people.co.uk.
- All memberships/subscriptions auto-renew every 28 days and can be cancelled at any time via the booking system. Once cancelled, memberships/subscriptions will terminate on the expiration date shown on the client’s personal account, and all associated credits on the clients account will expire (including pre-paid credits).
- All classes/memberships/subscriptions are to be managed & cancelled via the customer’s account on the booking system and is the customers responsibility to do this. If guidance is needed, please contact us, info@pilatespeople.co.uk.
- All memberships are for the use of one client only and are not to be shared with additional clients.
- 24-hour cancellation policy applies for all bookings (charges apply, see cancellation policy).
Discount Terms and Conditions
- Any discount codes received by a client are to be used by that client only, and not shared.
- Codes that are shared with another individual will be invalid, and the client that received the shared code will not be able to receive the discount.
- Our current discount offer for membership holders, can be obtained once a full price membership has been purchased and not before. Use of this code before purchasing a full priced membership will invalidate the discount.
- If the client cancels the full priced membership, they can no longer receive any additional memberships at the discounted price and will need to pay full price.
- Any expired discount codes are no longer valid for use for purchases.
- Any clients that are currently using discounts, which are now expired, can keep this discount for as long as their membership(s) are active, but once the membership is cancelled the old discount will no longer be available for future use.
