We offer small group and private sessions, along with an extensive library of classes you can access OnDemand at your leisure.

 
Our Classes

Mat Pilates

Mat Pilates is a form of exercise that focuses on strengthening the core (trunk) muscles, improving flexibility & mobility, and increasing body awareness. It’s based upon the original 34 exercises developed by Joseph Pilates and follows specific principles in order to help fulfil the intension of each exercise. Mat Pilates often uses props such as, resistance bands, ball, magic circle, to challenge or assist the exercises accordingly. We have a range of Mat classes including Clinical Pilates, Mixed Ability & Intermediate.

Barre Pilates

Barre Pilates combines simplified ballet techniques, Pilates, and body conditioning to create a low impact workout. It is designed to tone the whole body, as well as increase flexibility and core strength. Expect to sweat and feel the burn with this safe, effective, flowing workout for everyone.

Mindfulness Classes

Our mindfulness classes use a range of techniques to bring awareness into the present moment. One of the techniques involves Somatic movement, which is a comprehensive system of movement education based on the work of Thomas Hanna, Ph.D. Somatic Movements are gentle, slow movements that focus on the internal sensation of movement, in order to eliminate chronic muscle pain and improve mobility and physical comfort for the long term. Kelly our Mindfulness coach also provides meditation classes where you can become more familiar with your mind, thoughts, emotions, and sensations without judgement, which can help you to find space, clarity and inner calm needed to respond in a kinder way towards yourself.

Fitness

Our fitness classes consist of Tabata, Zumba Fitness & HIIT Pilates. All of which aim to improve cardiovascular health, endurance and full body strength. Tabata and HIIT Pilates are high-intensity interval training classes. Tabata specifically consists of eight sets of fast-paced exercises each performed for 20 seconds interspersed with a brief rest of 10 seconds. However, the exercise and rest times for HIIT Pilates can range in length, and each exercise focuses on the Pilates principles. Zumba Fitness is a fun and energising workout; it combines choreographed dance moves and fitness into a workout.

Springboard Pilates

The Pilates Springboard is a wall mounted board with spring attachments from the Pilates Cadillac. These classes are a great way to combine the Pilates Mat work with spring resistant work on the Cadillac. The variety of spring tension, and options, means that the resistance can be tailor to your ability.

Personal Training

Personal training is a great way to master the Pilates Technique. We will assess your posture and design you a results-driven programme tailored to your specific needs and goals. By training one on one with us it allows us to observe you in detail whilst you are performing the exercises, enabling you to perfect your technique and make amazing progress. We will work with you alongside any relevant other health practitioner to help you gain optimal results.

Laura’s teaching approach focuses on the element of mind and body in order to increase body awareness, correct alignment to improve strength, flexibility, posture, and overall movements.

Jane Linden-Brown
Co-Owner

Jane is a highly qualified Pilates instructor and certified Personal Trainer. With over 16 years teaching experience, she brings a heartfelt, and genuine sense of caring to her teaching.

Jane Howarth
Instructor

Jane adds a creative twist to Pilates which will ensure that you not only move well, feel great, develop length/strength through control and concentration but will be more resilient to developing injuries through daily life. Creating strength inside out.

Kelly Watts
Instructor

Kelly is a mindfulness coach who is committed to a regular practice of mindfulness. Her sessions will guide you through a mindfulness mediation where you can become more familiar with your mind, thoughts, emotions, and sensations without judgement.
